The representative in the Lebanese Parliament from the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, Dr. Ihab Hamadeh, commented on the statements of the American Ambassador, Michel Issa, and stressed that “the American position is the same as the Israeli position, far from any concern for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability, and what the Americans want is the sovereignty of the Zionist entity, and giving Lebanon to the entity.” He explained in an intervention on Sputnik Radio, “Weapons constitute a point of strength in confronting Israel and preventing the realization of its project. They want to remove it to empower the entity and not to achieve stability. They want to subjugate the nation that faces the Zionist-American project in the region, from Yemen to Palestine, which is the project under whose umbrella the American ambassador moves and declares America’s support for Israel.” Regarding the statements regarding the violations, Hamada said: “It is the end of times, and it is astonishing for the occupier of the land to talk about a violation committed by the people of the land in defense of it.” He pointed out that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in trouble at the level of the internal elections in the entity, such that the south and its people form a ballot box to raise its score through an imaginary achievement in Lebanon, which is Ali's pure scapegoat." He stressed that "the resistance is moving between two extremes, and so is Israel," and added: Things are open in two directions. If Israel takes military action in connection with the electoral reality, and in an effort to raise Netanyahu's credit, what will it do if the response is greater than it expects? Could it be the final blow to Netanyahu's political future? No one can decide the level and manner of the resistance and the axis’ response to any operation in Ali al-Tahir.” Hamadeh pointed out, “There is no contact with the President of the Republic, who has decided on his choice to belong to the Israelis, and we do not call on him to return. All of the authority’s decisions, up to the framework agreement, are a disgrace. The goal has always been to reach an internal conflict, and we have repeatedly missed the opportunity for it. We are keen on civil peace and internal unity as a point of strength that must be adhered to.” He concluded by saying: “Our principles govern any relationship, and we move under the umbrella of these principles.” There will be no meeting with America, which we describe as the Great Satan, except when it becomes an angel that is built on what it requires.
