Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naeem Qassem said at the Islamic Unity Conference that differences between Muslims should not open an internal front and make them forget their main enemy. He stressed that "Israel" failed in its three wars because of the steadfastness of the people, pointing out that it would not be able to achieve its project and plan as long as the resistance remained steadfast. He stressed that any steadfastness, regardless of its cost, establishes the restoration of our position and enhances our ability to achieve our goals and overthrow the enemy’s project. He pointed out that the practical unity that our martyred Imam Khamenei followed was what revived the Palestine issue, pointing out that Palestine’s giving was in blood, weapons, money, confrontation, and the common hostility to “Israel” and Washington, and all of this expresses true unity, considering that it was the unity that was embodied in Lebanon between Hezbollah, the “Amal Movement” and all the political forces that reject “Israel” and want liberation. Qassem stressed that any retreat in the face of the enemy will lead to the annihilation of the resistance because he acts without mercy, and any steadfastness, whatever its cost, stops the enemy’s advance and lays the foundation for restoring our position after that.
