On the anniversary of the declaration of “Greater Lebanon” on September 1, 1920, which falls today, the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, affirmed that this achievement was achieved in crystallizing the Lebanese idea through a political entity that brings together the Lebanese sects, in a constitutional consecration of the state with the mission. This declaration was completed by the declaration of the Lebanese Constitution and the Republic in 1926, the centenary of which we are celebrating throughout this year. It was also complemented by independence and the establishment of institutions. He added: Despite the dilemmas and conflicts, Lebanon has continued and is returning to fulfill its role among the nations. The bet today lies in ending wars, preserving sovereignty, moving towards building the state and institutions, and revitalizing the economy and business. This can only be achieved through the return of everyone to the state, as it alone is the reference for all the Lebanese, who are united by the National Charter as a comprehensive starting point that preserves diversity within unity.
