Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday the arrest of the head of the Hamas internal security service in Gaza, stressing that the detainee “is considered a senior Hamas leader.”
Netanyahu pointed out that "the detainee was responsible for hiding and transporting the hostages, and for providing hideouts for the movement's senior officials, as well as strengthening the capabilities and trying to restore the movement's capabilities."
Netanyahu noted that "his directives are clear, stressing that Israel will continue to pursue all Hamas leaders and everyone who participated in October 7."
