The Israeli army spokeswoman announced on Wednesday that it had targeted Hezbollah positions in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon, in response to the party launching two bomb-laden drones towards its forces operating in the Ali al-Taher area in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army indicated that the targeted sites were being used by Hezbollah members to plan and direct attacks against Israeli civilians and Israeli army soldiers in the security zone.
She stressed that the Israeli army will continue its operations in the highlands area, pointing out that the army will not allow party members to advance and carry out attacks against its soldiers.
She stressed that the army will continue to act resolutely against Hezbollah's repeated attempts to harm its forces.
