The Lebanese Red Cross issued a statement this evening, announcing that at approximately 8:00, after the town of Majdal Zoun (Tyre) was targeted by hostilities, and after making the necessary communications with UNIFIL, its crews moved to the site with two ambulances and two teams to treat the injured.
The statement indicated that during the ambulance operation, the site was targeted for the second time, resulting in two paramedics being injured. They were transferred to Jabal Amel Hospital in Tyre, to undergo the necessary tests and receive treatment.
