The Jordanian News Agency, Petra, reported that the Jordanian government launched the “Farah” digital speaker service, developed using artificial intelligence techniques, in a step aimed at employing technology to deliver government information in a clear and simplified manner. The Minister of Government Communications and official spokesman for the government, Muhammad Al-Momani, indicated that the launch of the “Farah” service comes within the government’s approach to using digital technology and artificial intelligence in communication, pointing out that “Farah” aims to provide citizens and those interested with information and facilitate access to it, in addition to developing the government communication system. With Farah's move to Instagram, the virtual character now has an account dedicated to communicating with the public. Petra stated on Friday that the account aims to answer questions related to issues of concern to the street, through digital content directed to users of social media platforms. After launching the Arabic version, Momani announced on Friday the launch of an English version of “Farah.” The minister said that the English version is for the purposes of the media speaking this language, indicating the possibility of launching the character in other languages ​​later.
