The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported, citing an Israeli security source, that the Israeli army is preparing to reduce its forces in southern Lebanon after destroying tunnels in the Ali Al-Taher area. She indicated that the Israeli army discussed establishing a new security zone in southern Lebanon that would be closer to the Israeli border, stressing that the Israeli forces will withdraw and be stationed at a distance ranging between 3 and 4 kilometers from the border.
