The Public Health Emergency Operations Center in the Ministry of Public Health announced that the Israeli raids launched by the occupation forces this morning led to the complete destruction of Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, which constitutes an additional grave violation of international humanitarian law, which stipulates the protection of health facilities, while the Israeli enemy continues in its attacks on the medical sector without calculation and without any consideration, in complete disregard of international humanitarian law.
The statement added that "targeting the hospital exacerbates the losses incurred by the health sector as a result of the ongoing aggression," explaining that "this hospital was forced to stop working about two months ago due to the concentration of Israeli attacks on the Nabatieh area and its surroundings, after it played a pivotal role during previous rounds of attacks as it continued to provide health services to the people and was also approved as a displacement center for a long time."
