Minister of Justice Adel Nassar wrote on the “X” platform: “In the Beirut Port explosion case, the judicial investigator, Judge Tariq Al-Bitar, concluded his investigations and referred the file to the Cassation Public Prosecution for its review, in preparation for completing the path to the indictment decision. We expect this stage to be completed during the month of October or at the end of it, in an essential step on the path to revealing the truth and achieving justice in one of the most painful cases for the Lebanese.” He added: "The independence of the judiciary and respect for legal procedures are the guarantee for reaching the truth and holding those responsible accountable."
