Berri follows up on the situation with Salam and receives Abu Al-Hassan, Morcos, and the head of the Press Syndicate

Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh, where he presented the general situation and the latest political and field developments as a result of Israel’s escalation of its attacks on Lebanon, especially the south.
President Berri followed up on the general situation, developments, and media affairs during his meeting with Information Minister Paul Morcos, who said after the meeting: “Today, as usual, I was honored to meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, and we discussed the latest general developments. His state also presented in an atmosphere and form the proposals and draft laws related to the media in general, especially the expected additional amendments to the new media law, which would complete this reform path that had begun.”
Morcos concluded by saying: "There is complete agreement to coordinate with those concerned in order to complete this reform process."
The President of the Council received the head of the Lebanese Press Syndicate, Awni Al-Kaaki, where the meeting discussed the general situation, especially the media sector, and the observations of the media sector and the press and editors unions on the new media law and the amendments proposed to it.
Berri also met with the Secretary of the "Democratic Gathering" parliamentary bloc, MP Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, where they discussed developments in the general situation and the latest political and field developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against the south and its systematic destruction of villages, towns, health and educational facilities, and the massacres it committed in Kafr Rumman, Deir Al-Zahrani, Ansar and Arabsalim, in addition to national and legislative affairs.
