The Upper Matn region witnessed a tragic crime after the body of the young man E.A. was found murdered inside his car at the Al-Mudairij Bridge. Immediately, the security services and the forensic doctor moved to the site, where investigations into the incident were launched. The Secretary of the "Democratic Gathering" bloc, MP Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, made efforts to pursue the crime leads with the security authorities and the victim's family from the beginning. He also visited the relatives of the deceased to console them, and met with a crowd of families and sheikhs at the home of the father of the late Sheikh Wael Al-Aawar. The attendees demanded that the perpetrators be arrested as soon as possible, that the circumstances of this heinous crime be revealed, and that the perpetrators be prosecuted, with an emphasis on limiting the consequences to the perpetrators and the need for them to receive the maximum legal penalties.
