Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee indicated that Israeli army units had recently monitored Hezbollah launching rocket shells from inside a school complex in the area of the village of Teir Zabna (Shehabiya) in southern Lebanon.
Adraee said: In the scene published by the army, the heat signature of the launch pad can be clearly seen, as well as its transmission in real time inside the school yard, as this is a violation of international law.
Adraee pointed out that following the monitoring operation, the IDF raided the compound with the aim of removing the threat from the State of Israel.
In a second statement, Avichay Adraee announced that the 401st Brigade Combat Team, led by the 162nd Division, continues its offensive activity in southern Lebanon. The fighters are working to deepen strikes against Hezbollah systems, eliminate saboteurs, and find and destroy terrorist infrastructure and means of combat.
He pointed out that the Israeli forces found a launch pad that was loaded and directed towards the territory of the State of Israel. As soon as it was spotted, the platform was targeted and destroyed within a rapid fire circle.
He continued: In additional activity, the forces raided Hezbollah infrastructure and found an opening leading to underground infrastructure.
Combat means were also found and destroyed, including anti-armor missiles, weapons and ammunition.
