After the Israeli aggression on the government palace in Nabatieh, Hezbollah issued the following statement: Today, the Zionist enemy committed a major massacre in continuation of its massacre on Black Wednesday, targeting the government palace in the city of Nabatieh, which led to the martyrdom of 13 members of the State Security Service, in a blatant and dangerous attack against an official, sovereign security institution, which confirms that this enemy is intent on subjugating all of Lebanon, state, people, and institutions, in an attempt to inflict the largest number of losses and destruction in order to break the will of the steadfast people, and to cover up its great failure in the field. This criminal aggression places the Lebanese state facing grave responsibilities that cannot be shied away from. At a time when it rushes to beg for direct negotiations with the enemy under fire, neglecting the cards of power and the achievements recorded by the Mujahideen in the field, and under the pretexts of formal sovereignty, real sovereignty is left plundered by the enemy’s missiles, aircraft, and crimes. In the face of all the concessions that have been made and are being made to the enemy despite the massacres, killing and destruction it has committed without any corresponding guarantees, and working day and night and in light of the aggression to try to withdraw legitimacy from the defensive resistance, which is a right guaranteed by the Constitution and international law, the enemy is sending its message in blood that everything is permissible in the face of its aggression, and that every concession is met with more permissibility and destruction. While we condemn this brutal massacre, we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and to the leadership, officers and members of the State Security Service, and we call on the authorities to realize the danger of the path of concessions with an enemy that only understands force, and to return to its natural position alongside its people and their resistance. Through national unity, steadfastness and steadfastness, we will overcome this aggression, and all of Lebanon will emerge victorious, God willing.
