The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: An army unit implemented security measures in the city of Tripoli, which included raids, mechanized patrols, and the establishment of circumstantial checkpoints, within the framework of combating drug trafficking and prosecuting those who disturb security. In the Al-Tall area, 3 citizens were arrested for possessing military weapons, and a quantity of drugs prepared for sale was seized in the Abu Samra area. Another unit in the Al-Ouzai area - the southern suburbs also arrested the citizen (A.J.), who was wanted for committing several crimes: shooting an army soldier, taking drugs, getting involved in an armed conflict, and intimidating and threatening citizens. The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations were launched into the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
