Israeli Channel 12 announced that “the Israeli army declared a state of maximum alert in anticipation of a possible escalation with Iran.”
She pointed out that “the security establishment is preparing for the possibility of Trump’s decision to carry out military action against Iran in the coming days,” and said: “Israel is closely monitoring a draft of a US-Iranian agreement and fears granting Tehran relief from sanctions without addressing the nuclear file,” pointing out that “Israeli officials confirm that there is an understanding with Washington not to allow Iran to maintain uranium enrichment capabilities.”
Channel 12 also reported “Israeli estimates that the negotiations will not lead to an agreement and that the military option will be implemented,” and added: “Military leaders are calling on the political leadership to decide its position between an agreement with Lebanon or expanding freedom of military action.”
