The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, received a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Abbas Arakatchi, which contained the following points: He said that the Islamic Republic, until the last moment, will not abandon support for the movements demanding truth and freedom, led by the resistant and victorious Hezbollah. He pointed out that from the first moment some countries in the region intervened as mediators with the aim of reducing tension between the Islamic Republic and the United States of America, Iran proposed linking the ceasefire in Lebanon to any agreement, and this important issue to this day has remained an undoubted principle, and it is among the justified demands of the Iranian government and our heroic people, and it will remain so. - In the latest proposal submitted by the Islamic Republic through the Pakistani mediator with the aim of stopping the war permanently and stably, the demand for Lebanon to be included in the ceasefire was emphasized.
