The Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health announced that “25 medical, nursing and administrative staff at Hiram Hospital in Tire District were injured with various injuries, as a result of raids launched by the Israeli enemy in the immediate vicinity of the hospital, which led to serious damage to it. This is the second time in less than two months that the hospital has been exposed to these risks due to repeated Israeli attacks, which constitute additional evidence of the Israeli enemy’s violation of international humanitarian law, which stipulates the protection of health facilities, and its disregard for all relevant resolutions, the latest of which is the resolution issued by the Assembly.” General Assembly of the World Health Organization, which confirmed the protection of the Lebanese health sector. The Ministry saluted the workers at Hiram Hospital who remain steadfast in performing their duty in the hospital despite all the risks. It also saluted all of their colleagues “who are on the front lines and refuse to vacate their places out of concern for continuing their humanitarian mission and providing emergency, health and medical services to those who need them.”
