A number of masked people stole about 40 heads of sheep from a farm located in the outskirts of the town of Ras Baalbek, owned by the citizen (S. Raphael), a resident of the town, after they deliberately attacked the shepherds of the Rifai family of Syrian nationality, and beat and tied them before carrying out the theft and fleeing to an unknown destination. Information reported that the region had recently witnessed several similar incidents involving farms and livestock, which raised a state of anxiety among residents and farmers, amid calls for tightening security measures and prosecuting those involved.
