Israeli media reported that Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir asked the government to approve the bombing of buildings in Beirut. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said, “The army has prepared a plan for a strong fire attack on Lebanon and is awaiting its approval by the political level.”
