The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: The Army Manash unit in the Salhiya - Sidon area arrested citizens (M.A.), (M.B.) and (H.A.) for possessing a quantity of weapons and military ammunition, in addition to military equipment. Another unit in the Jal al-Bahr - Tyre area also arrested the citizen (A.A.) for pointing a gun at an army patrol while it was accompanying a civilian food aid convoy, and seized a quantity of military weapons and ammunition in his possession, in addition to military equipment. The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation was launched with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
