The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned what it described as the American attacks on an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and on a communications tower on Qeshm Island, and said that they constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law. The ministry said that Kuwait and Bahrain bear "direct and clear responsibility" for these attacks, and said that their lands and facilities were used to support US military operations against Iran. She added that Tehran reserves the right to self-defense, and that it will use all available means to respond, including targeting the source of any future attacks.
