The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, affiliated with the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, was attacked at dawn on Friday by drones, which led to a fire breaking out in a number of refinery units. The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), citing official sources, reported that initial estimates indicate that there were no human casualties as a result of the attacks. The Corporation explained that the fire and emergency teams immediately dealt with the fire, beginning operations to control it and taking the necessary measures to contain it. It also confirmed the precautionary closure of a number of refinery units, while implementing all necessary measures to ensure the safety of workers and the continuity of vital operations.
