Centcom: Two American soldiers were killed in Jordan

The US Central Command (Centcom) announced on Saturday that two of its soldiers were killed and a third soldier was missing, on July 17 in Jordan.
US Central Command said in a statement: “Two members of the US Armed Forces were killed in the line of duty in Jordan, while US Central Command forces and partner forces were confronting Iranian attacks with ballistic missiles and drones.”
The statement added: "One service member is also still missing in the line of duty."
She continued: "Four American soldiers were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals, and they left the hospitals after receiving treatment. As for the rest of the individuals who were evaluated for minor injuries, they have returned to performing their duties."
She added, "Out of respect for the families of the victims, US Central Command will withhold any additional information, including the identities of the soldiers who were killed, until 24 hours have passed after their families are officially notified."
