Representative Marwan Hamadeh confirmed that US President Donald Trump showed “great respect” for President Joseph Aoun and Lebanon, stressing that support for the Lebanese army is the key to Israeli withdrawal and the confinement of illegal weapons. Hamadeh noted Trump's encouragement of the Lebanese economy, by supporting the aviation sector and opening the door to American investment in Lebanon, while emphasizing Lebanon's sovereignty and the right of its people to live in peace and prosperity. He considered that President Aoun must work to implement the results of the visit to Washington, starting with the success of testing the experimental areas.
