US President Donald Trump announced that he will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tomorrow, Tuesday, noting that there are “some differences” between the two sides, but “our positions are close.” Trump considered Netanyahu a "successful prime minister during wartime," stressing that Israel "will not be able to withstand without American support." Trump revealed that "good talks were being held," noting that Washington would use "frozen Iranian funds to compensate for the damage to ships in the Strait of Hormuz as a result of Iranian attacks." He added that the United States “destroyed Iran’s army and navy,” considering that Tehran “is not in a position to launch any strikes,” and warning that “if an agreement is not reached with Iran, there will be bad things and we will return to bombing.” Trump indicated that there is "a possibility of reaching an agreement with Iran," explaining that the Iranians "want to meet to negotiate."
