Former President of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, criticized what he described as “the theorizing of defeat and surrender under the slogan of arms exclusivity,” considering that this proposal has begun to spread in Lebanon. Jumblatt indicated, in a post on the “X” platform, that talking about the truce has become forbidden, criticizing the adoption of the “framework paper” by official bodies, and stressing that it “is not based on any legal document.”
