President Joseph Aoun announced, after his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, that relations between countries are based on interests, stressing that they are based on the will of their people and aim first and foremost to achieve goodness, progress and prosperity for them. He pointed out that the good of any people is linked to its view of its history, traditions, heritage, memory, personality, and the system of values ​​in its society, in addition to its aspiration for its future, role, and mission in its land and surroundings, which constitutes the identity of this people. He pointed out that “this vision applies to Lebanese-Greek relations,” saying: “Therefore, I see that our common interests between Lebanon and Greece are truly from the age of history, as they are the product of our present and the requirements of our future.”
