The Israeli army spokeswoman announced that the army intercepted, on Sunday morning, two suicide drones that were on their way to its forces deployed in the security zone in southern Lebanon. Israeli warplanes launched two raids targeting a building in Arab Salim, after the Israeli army had threatened to target it earlier today, following Hezbollah’s launch of the two drones. The evacuation warning in Arabsalim this morning coincided with a series of successive Israeli raids that targeted villages and towns in the Nabatieh district since the dawn hours, including Kafr Rumman, Doha Kafr Rumman, Nabatieh Al-Fawqa and Al-Tahta, Al-Ruwais neighborhood and the nuns’ neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh. Israeli aircraft also targeted the Salah Ghandour Hospital building in Nabatieh. Casualties were reported as a result of these raids. South Lebanon had witnessed a field escalation since Saturday night, as Israeli warplanes launched two raids on the town of Qantara and a raid on the town of Taloussa in the Marjayoun District, while artillery shelling targeted the town of Beni Hayyan, and an artillery bombardment was recorded on Doha Kafr Rumman in the Nabatieh District. Also, Israeli aircraft launched a raid on the outskirts of the eastern town of Zawtar in the Nabatieh District, and another on the Wadi Saluki area in the Bint Jbeil District. The Israeli army also targeted the town of Al-Mansouri with three raids. In Mays al-Jabal, the Israeli army penetrated the western outskirts of the town and brought in a truck loaded with explosives to booby-trap a number of homes in preparation for blowing them up.
