Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said, “Targeting media professionals constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a clear violation of the rules that guarantee the protection of journalists in times of war.
He added, "Lebanon, which highly values media freedom and its role, affirms its commitment to protecting journalists, and calls for respecting the rules of international law, preserving the lives of civilians, and stopping the Israeli attacks targeting them."
Salam offered his deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs Ali Shuaib, Fatima Fattouni, and Mohamed Fattouni and their colleagues.”
