The spokesman for the Israeli army, Avichai Adraee, announced that the army attacked money transfer sites in Beirut that were used to finance Hezbollah. He said via “X”: “The Israeli army raided two money exchange sites in the Beirut area that were used to finance Hezbollah.” He added: "Among the sites that were targeted were: the exchange company BOA CHANCE, owned by Hussein Ibrahim, and the exchange company Trade Point International S.A.R.l, owned by Muhammad Nour El-Din." He continued: "Hezbollah's systematic use of exchange companies, which the IDF revealed about a year ago, is a central axis of its financing and laundering of money sent to it from the Iranian regime." Adraee pointed out that "the money changers knowingly transfer money to Hezbollah, and thus directly participate in financing its terrorist activities and enhancing its economic capabilities." He announced that "exchange companies were targeted after the army monitored their continued transfer of money to Hezbollah, and that this money is being used for terrorist activities against the Israeli army and citizens of Israel."
