Today, Friday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks that targeted a number of vital installations in the country, accusing Iran and groups loyal to it of being behind them. The Ministry expressed, in a statement published on the She stressed that the continuation of these attacks by Iran and its agents not only threatens the security of Kuwait, but also undermines regional and international efforts that recently resulted in the announcement of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and represents a clear challenge to the international community. The Ministry stressed the need to oblige Iran and its proxies to cease all hostilities immediately and unconditionally, as stipulated in Security Council Resolution No. 2817 of 2026. Kuwait also reaffirmed its full right to self-defense, based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security and stability.
