The Supreme Leader of the Iranian Republic, Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei, said that “the military bases of the United States in the region aim to control their countries.” He pointed out that "his country believes in establishing friendly relations with neighboring countries, but considers itself forced to continue targeting American bases there." Khamenei called on the countries of the region to close American bases, stressing the need to take advantage of all capabilities to close the Strait of Hormuz. Khamenei stressed the importance of the people's strong presence in various fields to thwart what he described as "the enemies' plans." He pointed out that studies had been conducted to open other fronts where the "enemy" lacked experience, thanking the Houthi group, Hezbollah, and the Iraqi factions for their support, considering that the "resistance front" countries were an integral part of his country's project. Khamenei added that his country is ready to establish friendly and sincere relations with all its neighbours, praising the role of Hezbollah, which he said "came to support the Islamic Republic despite all obstacles." He also praised what he described as "the Iraqi resistance" for its approach of supporting the Islamic Republic.
