In this context, the General Directorate of State Security calls on all media, visual, audio and written, in addition to digital platforms and social media sites, to adopt official statements issued exclusively by the Department of Information, Guidance and Public Relations. It is the only authority authorized to issue and publish any information related to its work. It also calls for refraining from circulating or publishing any news that is not issued by this official authority, as this may mislead public opinion and harm the national interest, and stresses its permanent commitment to the principle of transparency and professional communication with the media in a way that preserves security and stability.
