US President Donald Trump said on Friday, “We are comprehensively destroying the terrorist regime in Iran, militarily, economically, and in all other respects.” Trump added in a post on his Truth Social platform: “The Iranian Navy has disappeared, their air force no longer exists, their missiles, their drones, and everything they own are being annihilated, and their leaders have been wiped off the face of the earth.” He continued: "We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time, so stay tuned for what will happen to these mentally ill scum today." He continued: "They have been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now, as the 47th President of the United States, I am killing them. What a great honor it is to do so." The US President said on Thursday that what matters to him is preventing Iran from possessing nuclear weapons and destroying the Middle East and perhaps the world. Trump explained, "The United States is the largest oil producer in the world by a wide margin, so when oil prices rise, we make a lot of money." He added: "But what matters most to me, and has importance to me as president, is preventing the evil empire, Iran, from possessing nuclear weapons and destroying the Middle East and even the entire world," stressing: "I will never allow that to happen.
