Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has begun a path aimed at achieving what he described as a "historic peace" between Israel and Lebanon, accusing Hezbollah of trying to obstruct this path. He stressed that Israel continues to maintain “full freedom of action” in the face of every threat, noting that the Israeli army carried out attacks yesterday and today in southern Lebanon, with its commitment to restoring security to the residents of the north. Netanyahu added that his government is continuing to implement what it pledged to “change the Middle East,” pointing out that there is full coordination with the American administration on the Iranian and Lebanese files.
