The Lebanese Embassy in Paris announced that French President Emmanuel Macron decided to exempt Lebanese students at French public universities from registration fees for next year. Representative Bilal Abdullah commented on the decision through his account on “X” and wrote, “The decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to exempt our students in French universities from the registration fee constitutes a message of solidarity and support for the Lebanese people, and comes in these difficult circumstances that Lebanon is going through, as an announcement of France’s continued play of its positive role in protecting Lebanon, despite its loss of soldiers who fell on our soil in the south.”
