Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said, in a statement upon his arrival Monday in St. Petersburg, that “the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be a good opportunity to discuss developments in the war.” He announced that “the talks in Pakistan discussed the conditions for resuming negotiations between America and Iran,” noting that “Iran and Oman agreed to continue consultations regarding the Strait of Hormuz in expert-level talks.”
