The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the Mina area - Tripoli arrested the two citizens (M.A.) and (N.S.) for their involvement in smuggling people across the sea, and for requesting a sum of money from a citizen in exchange for his participation in a smuggling operation that had been previously thwarted. Two military pistols were found in their possession. The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities and the investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary, and follow-up is underway to arrest the rest of those involved.
