The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: Video clips are circulating through some accounts on social media, accompanied by allegations about the torture of detainees and the shooting of people by military personnel. The Army Command explains that these clips are old and have been filmed for several years, and the necessary measures were taken at the time. The leadership also warns that recirculating the aforementioned clips at this stage aims to incite against the army, distort its image, and create tension inside Lebanon in the service of suspicious goals and narrow factional interests.
