Council of Arab Interior Ministers: Supporting the security and stability of the Lebanese territories

At the conclusion of its forty-third session, the Council of Arab Interior Ministers issued a declaration containing its “strong condemnation of the sinful Iranian attacks on the Arab countries: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait, which constitute a blatant violation of the sovereignty of these countries, a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a serious threat to international peace and security, and its complete condemnation of this deliberate Iranian aggression.” To civilian objects and civilian infrastructure, which led to civilian casualties in flagrant violation of all the rules of international law and the principles of good neighborliness, and its strong denunciation of the repeated Iranian provocations against Arab countries, and its firm condemnation of Iran’s practices aimed at destabilizing security and stability in many Arab countries and undermining peaceful coexistence among the components of Arab societies.”
The Council affirmed its “full support for the attacked Arab countries in the face of the continuing Iranian attacks and its full support for the measures they are taking to preserve their security and stability, protect their lands, citizens and residents of their lands, secure their national institutions and facilities, and exercise their legitimate right to self-defense.”
He stressed his "rejection and denunciation of Iran's continued funding, arming, and movement of its militias in several Arab countries, to serve its interests, and in a way that constitutes a serious threat to the security and stability of those countries and the region."
The Council expressed its "admiration for the heroic performance undertaken by the armed forces, security forces, and civil protection agencies (Civil Defense) in the Arab countries in dealing with these attacks, and its deep appreciation for the sacrifices they are making in order to establish security and stability and protect lives and property."
The Council condemned "Israel's illegal occupation of the Palestinian and Arab territories occupied in 1967 AD, its expansionist policy in the region and its aggression against a number of Iraqi countries such as Iraq, Lebanon and Syria."
The Council affirmed “supporting the security, stability, and unity of the Lebanese territories, activating the sovereignty of the Lebanese state over its entire territory, and supporting the Lebanese government’s decision to confine arms to the state.”
