The Israeli Army: We destroyed the Zararia Bridge on the Litani River
Fady Mahouly
The Israeli army spokesman announced that warplanes had launched a raid targeting the Zararia Bridge on the Litani River in Lebanon, which was used as a central corridor for Hezbollah members.
He continued: The "party" uses this bridge in order to reach from north to south Lebanon, position itself, and prepare to fight, while exposing Lebanese civilians to danger and causing widespread destruction in the civilian environment. In order to prevent a threat to the population of Israel and to prevent continued harm to the population of Lebanon, it was necessary to cut this bridge
The army spokesman claimed that Hezbollah recently placed missile platforms near the bridge and used them to launch rockets toward Israel.
He concluded: The IDF is working forcefully against Hezbollah’s decision to join the battle and work under the auspices of the Iranian regime and will not allow the citizens of Israel to be harmed.
