The Minister of Information said that after the ministerial meeting in the Grand Serail, the ministerial meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and in the presence of a number of ladies and gentlemen ministers in the Grand Serail, where topics related, in particular, to the return of people to the south, were discussed. But first, His Excellency the President stopped at the issue of the Israeli attacks, specifically the bombings carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, and referred to the international communications being conducted by His Excellency the President and those before him, whether through mechanism or with friendly and brotherly countries around the world, to mobilize international support in order to stop these attacks. Also, on the subject of the Beirut Port bombing and the anniversary of August 4, His Excellency the President indicated that there is waiting and anticipation for the issuance of the indictment, God willing, within a few months, because the situation has changed under the current era and the government’s mandate, and there are no longer judicial obstacles, and they have been removed before the investigation, as we see. We are waiting, of course, while respecting the separation of powers and respecting the judicial authority. On the subject of negotiations, His Excellency the President indicated seeking successive Israeli withdrawals from Lebanese territory, leading to a complete withdrawal from Lebanon. As for the issue of the situation in the south, which took up a large area of ​​discussion between the Prime Minister and the ministers concerned, I refer first to the survey being carried out of the damages, and to the immediate commencement of removing rubble and opening roads, and also to the direct restoration of bridges starting next Wednesday, God willing, and securing services, especially in the issue of water, electricity, communications and other services.
