The White House revealed that US President Donald Trump is in “excellent health” after undergoing a comprehensive medical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, according to his health condition report. White House physician Sean Barbabella said that Trump has good heart, lung, and nervous system functions, in addition to excellent physical and cognitive performance, stressing that he is “fully fit” to perform his presidential duties. He explained that Trump underwent a CT scan and another heart scan, in addition to cancer screenings and other preventive evaluations, conducted by 22 specialists. The report indicated that President Trump (79 years old) weighed 108 kilograms, an increase of 6 kilograms from the medical examination he underwent in April 2025, while doctors recommended continuing to lose weight, increasing physical activity, and following preventive nutritional guidelines. Doctors gave him guidance on his diet, physical activity and weight loss, but concluded that his “cognitive and physical performance are excellent.” The report explained that the bruises that appeared on Trump's hands during the past months are due to the regular use of aspirin and frequent handshakes, while doctors attributed the swelling of the ankles that appeared previously to his suffering from chronic venous insufficiency.
